The company is the established fixed-line, and leading mobile phone, Internet and IT services operator in Hungary. Over the last three years, it has diversified into satellite TV broadcasting, retail electricity and gas distribution, media and insurance. István Maradi, Magyar Telekom’s chief technology and information technology officer, is part of the company’s senior management team that identifies and exploits such new opportunities.
