United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz testified in front of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on Tuesday, just a week after announcing his company’s new policies and settling out of court with a passenger who was violently removed from a flight when he refused to give up his seat to an airline employee. Aviation lawyer and visiting professor of law at Rutgers Law School Roger W. Clark and John Strong, finance and economics professor at the College of William and Mary, appeared on Knowledge at Wharton’s SiriusXM show to discuss how moves by United and lawmakers might change the airline industry.
