If you are in your late 40s or older, chances are you fall into the category of being a digital immigrant — someone who has had technology gradually become a part of your life, and change the way you live as well. By contrast, 20 and 30-somethings grew up with technology, developing an unbelievable knowledge of computers and the Internet at a very young age.

These changes in the way technology figures into our lives are also altering the way the next generation will view many other aspects of society and business. Curtis Hougland, CEO of global social media marketing agency Attention appeared on the Knowledge at Wharton radio show to discuss his opinion piece on the topic, “The Next Tech Take-Off Is On Its Way.” The Knowledge at Wharton show airs 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Eastern time Monday-Friday on Wharton Business Radio on SiriusXM channel 111.
