Weijie Su is an associate professor of statistics and data science at the Wharton School and an associate professor of computer and information science at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include statistical machine learning, high-dimensional inference, large-scale multiple testing, optimization, and privacy-preserving data analysis. Su sits on the editorial boards of various research journals, such as the Journal of Machine Learning Research, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Operations Research, Foundations and Trends® in Statistics, Journal of the Operations Research Society of China, and Communications in Mathematical Sciences.

He completed his PhD in statistics at Stanford University in 2016 and his BS in mathematics at Peking University in 2011.
