Lu Liu is an assistant professor of finance at the Wharton School. Her recent work studies household decisions in housing and mortgage markets such as mortgage contract choices, selling/moving, and refinancing decisions; the frictions and trade-offs that household face in the process, and how these inform policy and market design. Her research interests include household finance, real estate, financial intermediation, and behavioral economics.
