Dylan Small is the Universal Furniture Professor of Statistics and Data Science and Department Chair at the Wharton School. He is a statistician whose research focuses on causal inference and applications to health studies.
He joined Wharton in 2002, and is the founding editor of the journal Observational Studies, an interdisciplinary journal on methodology for and applications of observational studies.
Small obtained his PhD in Statistics from Stanford University in 2002 and his BA at Harvard University in 1997.
