The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its assessment of the American Health Care Act, reporting that although it would save 9 billion over a decade, the plan — which was recently approved by a narrow margin in the U.S. House of Representatives — would leave 23 million Americans uninsured.
During a recent appearance on Knowledge at Wharton’s SiriusXM show, Wharton lecturer Robert Field and Robert Town, a University of Texas-Austin economics professor, discussed what else is in the report and how it may impact Senate Republicans’ version of the effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
