The MacArthur Foundation just completed it’s inaugural 100&Change Competition, a “competition for a single 0 million grant to help solve a critical problem of our time.” Host Dan Loney talks with prize winners Sherrie Estin, EVP for Global Impact for Sesame Workshop, and David Miliband, CEO of the International Rescue Committee, to discuss their partnership to “implement an evidence-based, early childhood development intervention designed to address the “toxic stress” experienced by children in the Syrian response region—Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria.” UPenn’s High Impact Philanthropy expert, Katherina Rosqueta, was one of the judges and joins us along with Cecilia Conrad, Managing Director of the MacArthur Foundation, on Knowledge at Wharton.
