Saerom (Ronnie) Lee is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Wharton School.

His research explores how start-ups capture entrepreneurial opportunities, as well as organization design, venture scaling, and innovation. Lee has won several awards, including the Wharton Teaching Excellence Award and the E. G. Flamholtz Award for Academic Excellence.

In 2019, his dissertation was recognized as the winner of the INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition and the winner of the Strategic Management Society Best Conference PhD Paper Prize.

He received a PhD in Strategy from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and both a BBA and an MS in Strategy & International Management from Seoul National University.
