Fernando Ferreira is the C.F. Koo Professor of Real Estate, and a Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at the Wharton School. His research interests include real estate, urban economics, and public economics. Ferreira is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a Co-editor of the Journal of Public Economics.
His fellowships include the National Bureau of Economic Research, and the Penn Institute for Urban Research (2009–present).
He received his PhD at University of California, Berkeley in 2004, his MA at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in 1999, and his BA at State University of Maringa, Brazil in 1996.
