Alexis Stenfors joins host Dan Loney on Knowledge at Wharton to discuss how he went from being a currency trader at Merrill Lynch in London to being banned from trading after he tried to cover up huge mistakes, costing him around $456 million USD. His story is documented in his book, “Barometer of Fear: An Insider’s Account of Rogue Trading and the Greatest Banking Scandal in History.” Alexis is now a lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, teaching economics and finance.
