******************************** Farewell, Peter Drucker: A Tribute to an Intellectual Giant http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/index.cfm?fa=viewfeature&id=1326 Decades ago, Peter F. Drucker single-handedly began the exploration of what he called "the dark continent of management." That exploration, which gave birth to the field of management, came to an end on November 11 when Drucker passed away at age 95. Wharton professors point out that Drucker's most important contributions are grounded in his writings on management and marketing. Despite his death, his legacy and impact as a role model will last.
