Knowledge @ Wharton High School Edition Announced

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has announced plans to launch a high school version of its popular online journal Knowledge@Wharton, which reaches 1.25 million subscribers worldwide. Knowledge@Wharton High School (KWHS), to kick off in February 2009, will be a free biweekly site offering articles, videos, podcasts, business-related learning simulations and interactive tools targeted to high school students as well as teachers. The goal is to help the coming generation understand business concepts and the role that business plays in realizing their dreams as well as driving innovation and social change. Read More

K@W Launches YouTube Channel

Knowledge @ Wharton has launched a YouTube channel which includes an extensive array of video offerings.  Segments include interviews with Kevin Roberts, CEO Worldwide of Saatchi & Saatchi; Prof. Jeremy Siegel on "Bear Stearns, the Rate Cuts and Inflation"; and Boris Silver, a Wharton School sophomore whose start up has become one of Facebook's most popular applications. [Knowledge @ Wharton Technology Editor] Kendall Whitehouse has a really fantastic interview up with Scott Guthrie, the man helping to lead Microsoft’s charge into rich Internet applications. The interview covers a ton of ground including Microsoft’s plan to make money off of Silverlight and Scott Guthrie’s thoughts on AIR.
